Dr. Robert M Peskin is a general dentist and dentist anesthesiologist who has always attempted to provide the highest quality care to his patients for more than 30 years. Because of his training in anesthesiology, he is especially skilled to cater to the anxious, apprehensive and special needs dental patient. This is true not only in his Garden City office, but also throughout the greater New York metropolitan area where he provides sedation and anesthesia for other dentists as well. However, Dr. Peskin is a dentist first and foremost and is highly regarded for a very gentle and creative touch. He enjoys helping each of his patients improve their health, appearance, and self-esteem by working to create a wonderful smile while maintaining the health and function of both the hard and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
Dr. Peskin earned his DDS degree from the school of Dental Medicine at Stony Brook University in 1977. He subsequently completed both General Practice and Dental Anesthesiology residencies at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. In addition he has participated in more than 1500 hours of continuing dental education studies. This has enabled him to offer his patients a very high quality dental experience utilizing the latest technology combined with a very personal touch. Dr. Peskin has often remarked he would not provide a dental procedure to one of his patients that he wouldn't want in his own mouth. His academic track record and sincere commitment to his patients' well being, only serves to underscore this commitment to excellence.
Mark V. Franco, Esq. has a broad-based civil litigation practice involving employment law, civil rights and municipal liability, professional liability, transportation, commercial litigation, property and casualty, subrogation and alternative dispute resolution. He has substantial trial experience in both state and federal courts in Maine and New Hampshire.
Mark was born in Portland, Maine. He graduated summa cum laude from Cheverus High School, and graduated from Bowdoin College with a BA in Economics and Government. While attending Bowdoin, he spent a semester at the Institute of European Studies in London, England and a semester at The American University in Washington, D.C. He graduated from University of New Hampshire School of Law in 1984.

Dr. Tieraona Low Dog is a physician, author, and educator. She practiced herbal medicine, midwifery, massage therapy, and martial arts before earning her medical degree from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. She is one of the foremost experts in the United States on the safe and appropriate use of botanical remedies and dietary supplements. She has overseen the evaluation panel for supplement/botanical safety for United States Pharmacopeia, including joint reviews with the Department of Defense, for the past 20 years. Dr. Low Dog has published 54 research articles in medical/science journals, and written 24 chapters for medical textbooks. She has been honored
with many awards from academia, public health, and industry throughout her 40-year career. She has been invited to speak at more than 600 conferences, with her message of healthy nutrition, sensible dietary supplement use,
integrative medicine, compassionate care, and deep ecology. She has authored five books, including four with National Geographic - Fortify Your Life, Healthy at Home, Life is Your Best Medicine, and Guide to Medicinal Herbs. Dr. Low Dog lives on a small ranch in the mountains outside of Santa Fe, NM.
Dr. John Svirsky is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial pathologist at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. Dr. Svirsky has developed a broad background in research, published numerous articles in dental literature, and earned a master’s degree in adult education. He is a sought-after speaker, with an international reputation as an informative and entertaining lecturer.He is an honorary member of the Thomas P. Hinman Dental Society, and has received a presidential citation from the American Dental Association for significant contributions to the health of the public and the profession of dentistry. In 2012, he received the William J. Gies Award from the Greater NewYork Dental Meeting for contributions to oral health.The Alumni Association of Virginia Commonwealth University chose Dr. Svirsky to receive the 2013 Outstanding Alumnus Award. In 2015, he received the Distinguished ServiceAward from the Dawson Academy for advancement of the dental profession through research, publication, and education, and has been awarded an honorary membership in the American Academy of Oral Medicine.
