Meet Your Speaker
Sook-Bin Woo, DMD, FDSRCS
Dr. Sook-Bin Woo is Professor in the Department of Oral Medicine, Infection and Immunity at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, consultant oral and maxillofacial pathologist at the Brigham and Women's Hospital and Boston Children's Hospital, and attending oral medicine specialist at the Brigham and Women's Hospital and Dana Farber Cancer Institute. She is director of the Center for Oral Pathology at StrataDx Inc. in Lexington, Massachusetts and program director for the advanced oral and maxillofacial pathology training program at Harvard. She is board-certified in both oral and maxillofacial pathology and oral medicine and is active in training residents and graduate students in both specialties. She received the Distinguished Senior Faculty Award from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 2012. She is a sought after speaker at national and international meetings and her recent work on immunotherapy for oral leukoplakia is innovative. She has published more than 300 papers and book chapters including a textbook on Oral Pathology, the third edition of which was published by Elsevier in 2023.
