Course Description:

The Full Arch Restoration: Is it a Clear Choice? (6 CEs) Wael Garine, DDS The need for treatment for edentulous patients is projected to increase in the US over the next decade. Multiple analog and digital treatment options are available to the clinician ranging from removable to fixed prosthetics. Currently, there is no consensus over the guidelines for treatment, procedures, and material selection. This program will present a systematic decision-making approach to restore health, function, and esthetics for the edentulous patient starting with the end in mind. In addition, different material choices will be discussed. Throughout the presentation, current literature will be analyzed to highlight the pros and cons, predictability, and limitations of different treatment approaches. Learning Objectives: - When to call a dentition “terminal”. - What are the treatment choices for the edentulous patient. - Present different provisional restoration workflows. - Compare different analog and digital impression techniques for the full arch. - Discuss material choices for the definitive restoration.
