Participants will gain actionable insights into optimizing appointment flow, integrating cutting-edge technologies like AI-powered diagnostics (Overjet, Denti.AI), and leveraging effective patient communication techniques. The course emphasizes the importance of standardized clinical protocols, team calibration, and supportive practice environments that prioritize patient-centered care while reducing hygienist burnout. This session offers tools to modernize your periodontal program, reinforce interprofessional respect, and reinvigorate your clinical team. Course Description: - Explain and apply collaborative co-diagnosis strategies to improve early detection and management of periodontal disease. - Utilize appropriate clinical tools and resources to enhance periodontal assessment, documentation, and treatment planning. - Implement standardized periodontal care protocols within the dental hygiene department. - Analyze workflow, communication, and systemic barriers that affect periodontal care delivery and provider well-being. - Evaluate the impact of periodontal protocols on patient outcomes, efficiency, and professional satisfaction.
