This course will address the importance of developing a strong brand culture and the impacts on team dynamics.  See attached outline for course overview.

Course Objectives:

  1. Discuss the changing dynamics of Maine Private Practice Dentistry from a Workforce Perspective

  2. Develop an understanding of how to approach building a strong brand culture and its impact on practice performance from a variety of perspectives:

    1. Retention of staff, growth of revenue, improved patient relations, etc.

  3. Change Dynamics and how to approach purposeful change to practice culture

  4. Identify the common themes present in both high performing and dysfunctional teams

 

Immediate Takeaway:

Attendees will gain the ability to identify both their desired and current “Culture Type” and develop a framework for designing a purposeful brand culture.

Robert Westhoven

Robert Westhoven is Executive Vice President and Director of Advisory Services for Royer Advisors and Accountants.  Robert is a healthcare practice finance expert and brings more than twenty-five years of Commercial banking experience to the Royer team.  Most recently Rob served as Director of Dental Banking for a Maine Community Bank and helped to establish the bank’s healthcare banking program.  As program director Rob was intimately involved with transition and succession planning, practice and real estate acquisition, practice valuation, project management, new office construction, equipment financing, and many other aspects of practice finance. 

 

Rob has worked closely with dental professionals at all stages of their career.  From start up to transition planning and all areas in between, Rob is a trusted advisor to his clients and the dental community. Rob is driven to provide private practice owners with the resources to independently grow their business, support their family and secure their financial future. Rob lives in Auburn Maine with his wife and three children.
