Course Description:
Revelations of the Mouth-Body Connection 2 CEs Debbie Seidel-Bittke, RDH, BS Discover how oral and systemic health are deeply connected in this empowering, evidence-based course designed for the entire dental team. Participants will explore the latest science behind the mouth-body connection and learn motivational communication techniques to inspire patients toward improved oral and overall health. This interactive session focuses on enhancing patient engagement, reducing professional burnout through meaningful patient relationships, and elevating case acceptance with a wellness-driven approach. Learning Objectives: By the end of this course, participants will be able to: 1. Examine current evidence-based research linking oral health to systemic wellness and disease prevention. 2. Identify effective strategies to communicate the mouth-body connection and motivate patients toward lasting health improvements. 3. Apply Motivational Interviewing (MI) techniques to enhance case acceptance and strengthen patient trust. 4. Develop a patient-centered care model that promotes complete health, professional satisfaction, and improved team collaboration.
