  • There are no available rooms left with the discounted rate (room block). Now what?
    On behalf of the association, we apologize all rooms in the room block have been booked at the Harborside Hotel, Spa & Marina. We have reserved an overflow room selection at Bar Harbor Regency. Please use other sources to accommodate your stay if these are also booked. We do not endorse the following companies nor do we hold responsibility if anything is to occur: -Vacation Home Rentals -Bed & Breakfast -Camping & Cottages The Bar Harbor Chamber of Commerce may have additional resources you can check out here.
  • Is childcare provided at Kids Convention?
    No. However, we request an RSVP to ensure there are enough materials for all children to participate. A waiver will be required upon arrival.
  • Is there coat check services available?
    Unfortunately, we do not offer coat check services. We hope that with the summer breeze, coats will be optional in June. However, we encourage a light sweater if the rooms are cool due to air conditioning.
  • Lost & Found
    Please head to the registration desk and speak with an MDA staff for any items lost or found.
  • Where can I park?
    The Maine Dental Association encourages all attendees, exhibitors, speakers, and guest to plan accordingly as parking may be limited. Parking locations and details can be found by visiting www.barharbormaine.gov/400/Parking-Information or viewing the printable map below.
  • How can I request accommodations for special needs?
    In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Maine Dental Association will make all reasonable efforts to accommodate persons with disabilities at the meeting. Please submit your request in writing no later than May 31, 2024, to Maine Dental Association, PO Box 215, Manchester ME or email Therese Cahill at tcahill@medental.org
  • How can I register?
    You may register online at www.medentalce.org or use the form(s) below to register. A one time registration fee of $75.00 is REQUIRED for all attendees. Registration includes entrance fee, Friday’s lunch, two drink tickets, and appetizers during the happy hour and awards event. On-site registration is available, however, we cannot guarantee a course will have open seats. Credit cards will be the only form of payment accepted at the door. If you need assistance with registration, please call our office at (207)622-7900, and we will gladly assist.
  • What is the Cancellation Policy?
    Refund/Cancellation Policy: Requests for cancellations/refunds must be emailed to Therese Cahill, tcahill@medental.org, no later than May 31, 2024. After this date, no refunds - including for absences due to illness (including COVID-19), late arrivals, weather, or parking difficulties - will be granted.
  • Can I have my badge mailed to me?
    No. Annual Convention badges will be provided at registration upon check-in.
  • How do I obtain my CE Certificate?
    Continuing Education credits will be given for CE-approved courses. Certificates will be emailed to the email address provided at registration no later than June 30, 2024.
  • Can I add a course the day of convention?
    On-site registration is available. However, we cannot guarantee a course will have open seats. Credit cards will be the only form of payment accepted at the door.
  • Registration Required

  • Kids Convention: Policy & Waiver
    Minor children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. The supervision of minor children over the age of 13 is at the discretion of the parent or guardian. The Maine Dental Association is not liable for the supervision of child(ren) regardless of age and is free from all liability of any injury or incident. Below is the language in the waiver that you will be asked to sign at the Kids Convention. "As the legal representative, I remain legally responsible for any personal actions taken by the above-named minor (participant). I agree on behalf of myself, the child named herein, or our heirs, successors, and assigns to hold harmless and defend the Maine Dental Association, its Officers, Directors, Employees, and Volunteers of this event, from any claim arising from or in connection with my child attending the event or in connection with any illness or injury (including death) or cost of medical treatment in connection therewith, and I agree to compensate the Maine Dental Association, its Officers, Directors, Employees, and Volunteers associated with the event for reasonable attorney’s fees and expenses which may incur in any action brought against them as a result of such injury or damage. Further, I agree that my child’s picture may be used to promote the Kids Convention through flyers, brochures, social media, and on our website."
  • Consent to Photography
    A photographer will be present at the event, taking photos for the Maine Dental Association to use in future flyers, brochures, social media posts, and on our website. If you do not wish for your photo to be displayed, please notify the Maine Dental Association immediately. Contact: 207-622-7900 sbaird@medental.org
